DN Solutions (formerly Doosan Machine Tools) is our machine OEM. Our standardized cell is built on their DVF 5000 5-axis machining center — the single machine platform the AutoCAM system targets.

DVF 5000¶
The DVF 5000 is a 5-axis vertical machining center with a trunnion table, running a Siemens Sinumerik ONE control (see Siemens). Standardizing on this one platform is what makes the AutoCAM problem tractable — one machine's kinematics, work envelope, and controller behavior to model, not many.
