Shop-floor safety. Everyone reads this, even if you never touch a machine — visitors and desk staff included. Safety rules are not optional and not negotiable.

Scaffold — formalize before anyone is on the floor

This page must be completed and reviewed before machine operations begin. Treat the items below as the required outline.

General Rules¶

TBD: PPE requirements (eye protection, closed-toe shoes, no loose clothing/jewelry).
TBD: no solo operation of machines outside designated hours.
TBD: housekeeping and walkways kept clear.

Machine Safety¶

TBD: lockout/tagout, door interlocks, e-stop locations, safe loading/unloading.

Materials & Chemicals¶

TBD: coolant handling, chip disposal, SDS location for fluids.

Emergency Procedures¶

TBD: fire, injury, spill. First-aid kit and eyewash locations. Emergency contacts.

Incident Reporting¶

TBD: how to report a near-miss or injury, and where it's logged.
